The campground is set in a beautiful park with mature pine trees and a reasonable amount of grassy areas. It is walking distance to downtown Sisters

Site Quality
The campground supports a mix of RV types, from no hookup camping or RV sites, right up to site 56 where we stayed which is 50A full hookups and plenty of length for a 45′ coach. The sites away from the main road are much closer together but get less road noise. Our site is closer to the main road, but we appreciate the space and many people seemed to avoid our area presumably because of the road. We have great insulation so it didn’t bother us much.
Site 56 is the only 50A 45′ site, so for us it was perfect! Yet another campground that we loved and we found a space. Take a little care driving in as there are trees and rocks. It’s not too difficult, just needs care. And if you haven’t already, get a set of radios from Amazon for about $40 and have your partner outside guiding you in using voice. Sure that weird hand waving stuff may work for you most of the time, but we have no stress or miss communication.
Facilities
We had a site with 50A full hookups. There is a paid on-site dump station.
There are showers and also outdoor sinks for washing up. We didn’t use any of the facilities.
They do not accept parcels, but we have relatives in Bend who were kind enough to receive everything. The campsite is managed by 3 couple who alternate weeks on-site, the service was very friendly.
The cell signal on Verizon was very good, but we didn’t get much better than 3 Mbps data, I’m assuming it was congested. T-Mobile had a very good signal and had 30-50 Mbps data, so ti was our primary connection for 2 weeks. The campground has free WiFi which was reasonable at 4.5 Mbps, so we used it as our hot backup.
Don’t expect to receive mail on-site, there is no office, as the staff work from their RV’s.
Location
It’s a great location for Bend 20 miles away. We had looked for something closer into Bend, but there wasn’t anything that looked suitable. We are glad we stayed at Sisters.
We did a road trip to Mt Bachelor, which is part of the scenic byway loop. There was still plenty of snow in May.
We love the Head of the Metolius, where the river rises out of the ground, it’s about 12 miles north of Sisters on highway 20. 5 miles further down the same road past Camp Sherman is the fish hatchery and some great views of the Metolius River, as well as a riverside walk. Highly recommended.
There are many other hikes in the area.
Pet-friendliness
Our dogs were very happy here. There is no dog park, but we didn’t need one. There are plenty of areas in and around the campground for morning walks. There are lots of hikes all around Sisters/Bend for dogs on leash. There are squirrels and chipmunks, always a favorite for keeping the dogs alert.
Our special treat for the dogs was the trip to the ski slopes on Mt Bachelor where we found a dog walk area with 4 ft deep firm snow. Wheaten Terriers, like many breeds, love the snow. They run a little hot, so the snow
Summary
We really enjoyed the high desert weather with low humidity, sunny blue skies and great temperatures in May of 75/45F. The Creekside Campground has such wonderful mature pine trees that it was a joy to walk around. This campground is highly recommended, as is a visit to the Sisters/Bend area.
